Absolutely! All solar panels meet international inspection and testing standards and a qualified installer will install them according to standard electrical codes. Also, your solar energy system will undergo a thorough inspection as part of the installation process.

The size of your solar energy system will depend on how much electricity you use on a daily basis. In Nigeria, home and office solar systems range typically from 300 Watts to 5000 Watts. Consult a solar installer to determine the best system size for your needs.

kVA (kilo-Volt-Amp) and kW (kilo-Watt) both represent power capacity but in different ways. 1kW equals 1.25kVA, 1.6kW equals 2kVA, 4kW equals 5kVA and so on. A 1kW inverter is NOT equal to a 1kVA inverter. It is 25% more powerful!

A (Amp) is a measure of current, e.g. from panels, and AH (Amp Hour) is a measure of current per hour, e.g. from batteries. This is not to be mistaken for kVA or kW, which are units of power.

Unless you are fully off the grid (NEPA), you will still pay some electric bills. However, you can dramatically reduce your bills, or even cut the amount you pay.
