Functions of pure sine wave inverter
Inverter Output: After turning on the IVT SWITCH on the front panel, the inverter converts the DC power from the battery to pure sine wave AC power, which is output from the AC OUTPUT on the rear panel.
Automatic Voltage Regulation: When the battery voltage fluctuates between under-voltage and over-voltage, and the load varies within the rated power range, the device can automatically regulate the output voltage. OVERVOLTAGE PROTECTION: When the battery voltage exceeds the overvoltage point, the device automatically cuts off the inverter output. The front panel LCD shows the overvoltage, and a buzzer sounds an alarm for 10 seconds. When the voltage drops to the overvoltage recovery point, the inverter resumes.
Undervoltage protection: When the battery voltage falls below the undervoltage point, the device automatically cuts off the inverter output to prevent the battery from being damaged by over-discharge. At this time, the front panel LCD display "Undervoltage", the buzzer sounds an alarm for ten seconds. When the voltage rises to the "undervoltage recovery point", the inverter resumes. If a switching device is selected, the undervoltage is automatically switched to the mains output.
Overload protection: If the AC output power exceeds the rated power, the device will automatically cut off the inverter output, and the LCD on the front panel displays "Overload". At the same time, a buzzer sounds an alarm for ten seconds. Switch off the IVT SWITCH on the front panel. No overload is displayed. If it is necessary to restart the system, check that the load is within the permissible range and then switch on the IVT SWITCH to restore the inverter output.
SHORT CIRCUIT PROTECTION: If the AC output circuit is short-circuited, the unit automatically cuts off the inverter output, the front panel LCD displays "OVERLOAD", and at the same time, the buzzer sounds an alarm for ten seconds. Switch off the IVT SWITCH on the front panel. No overload is displayed. If it is necessary to reboot the system, check if the output wires are OK, then open the IVT SWITCH to restore the inverter output.
OVERHEAT PROTECTION: If the temperature of the internal control part of the chassis is too high, the device will automatically cut off the inverter output, and the LCD on the front panel will show "overheat". At the same time, a buzzer sounds an alarm for ten seconds. After the body temperature returns to normal, the inverter output resumes.
Battery Reverse Connection Protection: The device has a complete battery reverse connection protection function. For example, if the battery polarity is reversed, the fuse inside the chassis will automatically blow to avoid damaging the battery and the device. However, reverse battery connection is prohibited.
Optional power switching: When selecting the utility switching function, when the battery is undervoltage or the inverter fails, the device automatically switches the load to the utility, to ensure the stability of the power supply. When the inverter works normally, it will automatically switch to the inverter power supply.
